Like a real retro game, Super MX uses the classic (255, 0, 255) pink as the alpha channel. The advantage: The images can even be edited with MS Paint!

The Design of the Residence

Some may remember the first drawn wallpaper of Super MX back in 2014. Even then, I had a rather clear vision about how the residence arc should look like. The redish style of the walls together with the planked floor and the evil furniture still identifies this place.

As you can see, MX is there together with John, the detective who helped to investigate Darkcity and its foes. Especially in the residence of Cisar, John’s ghost magic might become really handy for MX.

 

Residence Puzzle: Ghost Torch

As we have seen last month, the ghosts in the residence are capable of manifesting in a physical form to harm MX in a physical way. Vice versa, some objects were transported in the ghost layer. But how is MX going to light these in order to trigger something? Normal fire might not be helpful… Stay tuned 😉

 

Residence Enemy: Ghost Knight

The residence is going to have three floors, and the last one will be the most dangerous one: You can’t even trust paintings! Or is there maybe a difference between normal portraits and those where demons are jumping out?

Here, I will try to blog about my latest developments. Because it is semester break, I have time to do some new stuff 🙂

Especially with Super MX, dungeon development goes on and I am currently working on the residence in the Blackswamps.
